Winemaker Steve Johnson from Parallel 44 will be here to share his knowledge of their wines. We hope you can join us! Here are a few of the wines being featured: \nDrink Pink!\nDrink Pink! received its name from the common reference to rosé wines as “pink” wines. Once thought of as an inferior wine\, in recent years\, rosés have seen a resurgence in popularity. This aromatic\, full bodied\, sweet wine is sure to quench your thirst. \nNouveau Rouge\nNouveau Rouge was originally made in 2007\, when Parallel 44 first opened their doors. The 2018 vintage is made from a blend of Wisconsin reds like Petite Pearl and Frontenac (note: the blend of grapes used has changed over time\, however\, the flavor has generally stayed as a fruit forward red that is smooth and low in tannins.) The fruit forward structure\, deep color\, and soft finish make this one of the easiest drinking reds you can find. DESCRIPTION:The Thanksgiving Day Express delivers dinners in Chilton\, New Holstein\, Kiel\, Stockbridge\, Hilbert\, St. Anna\, Potter\, Reedsville\, Brillion\, St. Nazianz\, Valders and all rural areas in between. Dinners are delivered free of charge to the elderly\, needy and lonely. \nIf you know of someone who would appreciate receiving a meal:\nAll you need to do is call in their name and address information to the Chilton Eagles Club at 920-849-9223 or the Chilton Dairy Queen at 920-849-9379 before Thanksgiving Day (the earlier the better). Please include any special directions or instructions that would help the delivery volunteers. Also\, please make sure that they know a meal is coming and that they will be home. \nIf you wish to donate money or pumpkin pies:\nMake checks payable to the Chilton Lions Club c/o Thanksgiving Day Express.\nChecks can be dropped off at the Eagle’s Club any time or mailed to:\n121 W. Chestnut Chilton WI 53014 \nPies will be accepted at the Chilton Eagles or the Chilton Dairy Queen on Tuesday and Wednesday\, November 26 and 27. On Thanksgiving Day please have pies at The Eagles Club by 8 am. \nIf you would like to volunteer on Thanksgiving Day:\nThe Chilton Eagles Club hosts the Thanksgiving Day Express each year. Volunteers can arrive there any time after 9 am on Thanksgiving Day. Meal preparation for delivery begins around 10 am with clean-up to follow after all meals are out for delivery. Clean-up is usually completed by 2 pm. Volunteers help package food for delivery\, make deliveries\, and clean up. \n

DESCRIPTION:Pins For Hope is a bowl-a-thon\, being held on Saturday February 8\, 2020 at Pla-Mor Lanes in Chilton\, WI. \nThis is our 2nd Annual Pins For Hope fundraiser for us and is the ‘child’ fundraiser for our larger fundraiser\, Kicks For Hope\, that will be held on July 31\, 2020 through August 2\, 2020. We will be using the money raised at Pins For Hope to help offset any expenses for our Kicks For Hope Kickball tournament. \nIn the past Kicks For Kyle (as it was previously known) was created and run by a local family who donated the funds to MDA in honor of their son – they have since decided that with their young and growing families that they needed to focus on family. New Hope Center approached the family so that this annual event could continue to benefit our community and with the family’s blessing\, this will be the first time that New Hope Center will be undertaking the task of making this fundraiser a success. Our goal for the Kicks For Hope for 2020 year is to raise $10\,000-$20\,000 from our raffle items and silent auction. The money raised at Kicks For Hope will be used to help New Hope Center better serve individuals with disabilities.
