High Cliff Wind Energy Center

The High Cliff Wind Energy Center in Calumet County, WI will generate clean, Wisconsin-made energy to meet the nation's growing electric demand. The project will capture the superior wind resource in Wisconsin to deliver efficient, reliable, low-cost energy to the grid. Developed by Invenergy, the High Cliff Wind Energy Center will support local farming families and contribute millions of dollars in local tax revenue, wages, goods and services, and other forms of economic support to the local economy. Construction is expected to begin in 2029, with the project going into operation in 2030.
