About the Chilton Chamber of Commerce
The Chilton Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to the growth, health and prosperity of the city of Chilton. Our mission is to strengthen the business community and support economic development in Chilton and the surrounding area.
The Chilton Chamber of Commerce is organized to unite, advertise and advance the commercial, mercantile and manufacturing interests of the City of Chilton; to improve civic and industrial conditions; to promote just and equitable principles of business and trade among its members; and do all things possible for the promotion of business and civic interest.
Serving Chilton Businesses Since 1948
The Chilton Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1948 and has been proudly serving the local community and area businesses ever since.
- 1948: By-Laws written, chamber formed.
- 1954: Articles of Incorporation filed and accepted.
- 1989: Drafted and adapted the logo currently being used.
- 2006: Completed strategic planning process for the chamber.
Chilton Chamber Board of Directors & Officers
The Chamber is governed by six officers elected annually by the members of the Chilton Chamber of Commerce and a Board of Directors consisting of 13 members that are also elected by the members of the Chilton Chamber of Commerce. Members of the Board serve three-year terms, except for the president of the previous year, who serves a one year term. Ballots for election of Board of Directors are mailed to each chamber member.
