Happy New Year Chilton Chamber of Commerce!!

As we begin 2026, I would like to take the opportunity to thank each of you for your continued dedication to making Chilton a great place to live
and work. Chilton has so much to offer as a result of the businesses that are located in and around our city. Every business, whether the smallest
or largest, plays an integral part in the success of our city and those who live here.

Ten years ago, I had the privilege to begin as the Superintendent, and serve the children and families of Chilton Public Schools. For a second time,
I have been afforded the opportunity to serve as the President of our Chamber. Together we will accomplish great things for our community.
It is so amazing to live in and be part of a community that has so much to offer to those who live and work here. Serving as the County Seat,
having great schools, large manufacturing facilities, along with retail shopping and services that provides the ideal back drop to entice people to
come to our city to spend dollars and perhaps moving here.

2026 will provide many opportunities for Chamber members to be a part of building and maintaining great things that are happening in Chilton.
One of the first is to attend our monthly meetings which are held at a different location each month providing the opportunity to showcase a
business, engage in meaningful conversation, and enjoy a meal together. We can’t control everything that will take place in the next 12 months,
but together we can build upon the legacy of a Chamber that is supportive of each other and thankful to those who support us.

We are stronger together, and if you haven’t volunteered or participated in any of the following activities, I challenge you to make one of them
this year. As a member, you have a lot to offer and we look forward to seeing you at our events.

• Ambassador Club is a way that we recognize new businesses and existing businesses that have made substantial positive improvements to their
  business.
• Summer Festival and Father’s Day Parade is held every summer and brings thousands of people to the streets of Chilton for a weekend of family
  fun!!
• Christmas Parade of Lights is held annually and is a GREAT way to kick-off the Holiday Season!!
• Crafty Apple Fest is the largest and best organized craft fair in the area bringing in over 100 vendors and thousands of shoppers to Chilton.
• Chilton High School Scholarship Evening has been held every year since 1961 and local Chilton businesses have presented scholarships to the High
  School Seniors pursuing post-secondary education.
• Retail Promotions – The Chamber promotes retail events each year including our “Christmas on Us” promotion. Each promotion is designed to encourage customers to “Shop Locally.”
• Distinguished Citizen of the Year – Each year since 1949 the Chilton Chamber of Commerce has recognized and honored a Chilton resident for their
  service and devotion to our community. Nominations for the 2025 Citizen of the Year are being accepted Until 2/13/26.
• Chamber of Commerce Business Directory is a comprehensive listing of Chamber member businesses. The Chamber website also features a Chilton City Government page, a listing of Chilton Area Schools, a list of Chilton Area Churches, and a listing of Chilton Area Community Organizations. Our website is a great tool to promote and familiarize people with our wonderful city.
