Free Small Business Survival Coaching

Calumet County

There’s a new, free technical assistance service available through Calumet County Economic Development that might be of interest called Small Business Survival Coaching. Calumet County has partnered with the Rural Ideas Network, based in Dubuque, IA, to offer small businesses located in the county free access to “Small Business Survival Coaching” until June 30, 2020. These folks don’t replace the services provided by the SBDC, but they do have more time to spend with individual clients.

The Rural Ideas Network is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that specializes in helping rural entrepreneurs and communities spark growth. Their experienced business coaching team will help develop an Outbreak Survival Plan through a series of 1-on-1 sessions (offered virtually, of course). This service is specifically designed to help create relevant solutions to the current crisis. Working with a coach, a business will:

1. Complete a cash flow analysis

2. Learn about any available disaster relief funding

3. Consider alternative income opportunities (online, etc)

4. Review tools and strategies for remote working (if it’s an option)

5. Evaluate down-time improvement opportunities

To schedule a session simply use the link below and follow the instructions.
